At the office of Dr. Robert Rodriguez, we feel it’s important to not only give our patients an informal education in dental procedures and to update them in the latest techniques so they fully understand the treatments they’re going to receive when they visit our office. As a native San Antonian, Dr. Rodriguez feels it is his duty to give back to San Antonio through community outreach. Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are extremely personable and dynamic when it comes to public speaking and we value the opportunity to come to your school or social gathering to educate and inform your groups in a classroom setting.

SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM

The best way for your child to get an education in dental health is by an on-site classroom visit from Dr. Rodriguez. As a result, your child will get to know Dr. Rodriguez first- hand, which is especially important in maintaining a trusting, friendly and stress-free relationship when your child visits Dr. Rodriguez for their dental needs. This can be done by contacting your child’s teacher and suggesting that Dr. Rodriguez make an appearance to your child’s classroom. These visits are done by appointment at no charge to you or the school.

As part of our school community outreach program, we provide our scheduled class lectures with demonstrator models of teeth to illustrate proper brushing techniques. We also provide you with videos that highlight the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Rodriguez and his staff will make every attempt to keep the classroom lectures and activities fun as well as informative. Additionally, we provide other promotional items, such as cups, pens and cards, so children and their families can contact us with any additional questions or concerns they may have. On many occasions, we’ll be taking pictures to post on our website as part of our school outreach program to convey the breadth and scope of our outreach and to promote the visual fact that your child participated in this exciting event. If you or your child is going to participate and would like to be in any of our group photos, please download the photographic release form (click here), fill it out and bring it with you to the program and hand it to the speaker directly or his assistant prior to the start of the program.

PUBLIC RELATIONS OUTREACH PROGRAMS

From time to time, you may see Dr. Rodriguez and his staff at health fairs and shows. These outreach campaigns give Dr. Rodriguez and his staff the opportunity to promote proper dental health care. Dr. Rodriguez and his friendly staff can be found at his exhibit booth answering questions about the latest in advances in dentistry and briefing those that express an interest in his available services.

Dr. Rodriguez also makes appearances before civic and senior organizations as well. RADIO AND TELEVISION OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are in the process of developing radio and television instructional programming for the purposes of full community outreach as part of our aggressive marketing campaign. This effort insures that the entire San Antonio community can participate in Question and Answer sessions live on the radio during set time periods as well as to give public television programmers more effective and up-to-date informational content to educate the general public on the evolving technological advances that have been made in general dentistry, in which Dr. Rodriguez participates. On occasion, video taping that was conducted in classroom settings may be used as part of the illustration purposes for the demonstration of audience involvement.
